Clear about the data behind the product.

This policy explains what newtruckingleads handles when you use the service, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Effective September 4, 2026

01

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the newtruckingleads website, account workspace, and related support and billing interactions. It does not control the practices of FMCSA, Stripe, or other services you visit through an external link.

02

Information we handle

  • Account information: your name, work email, password hash, account role, and workspace membership.
  • Workspace activity: saved carriers, saved searches, filter preferences, and security or account events.
  • Billing information: Stripe customer, product, subscription, and status identifiers. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by newtruckingleads.
  • Technical information: an essential signed session cookie and routine request or security records, which may include an IP address and timestamps.
  • Public carrier information: business and contact fields published in the FMCSA Motor Carrier Registrations Census Files.
03

How we use information

We use this information to operate and secure accounts, display and personalize the lead workspace, process subscriptions, respond to support, monitor imports, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

newtruckingleads does not sell or rent account information. The current service uses an essential authentication cookie and does not require advertising cookies or a third-party product analytics service.

We also use first-party measurement cookies (a 90-day first-visit cookie and a 30-minute session cookie) to connect landing pages, blog views and marked link clicks with account creation, checkout creation and a workspace's first payment. We store public page paths, the external referring domain, timestamps and campaign labels from ref, post, pos and utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term. These measurement records link to account and workspace identifiers and exclude contact details, passwords, card details and other URL parameters. An attribution identifier is passed to Stripe to reconcile conversions. Blocking these cookies does not prevent signup or payment.

04

When information is shared

Information may be processed by vendors that provide infrastructure and essential service functions, including Netlify for hosting, Neon for database hosting, Stripe for billing, GitHub for scheduled automation, and the U.S. Department of Transportation data service for source records. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or its users, or complete a business transfer.

05

Retention and your choices

We keep account and workspace data while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, billing records, dispute resolution, backups, and legal obligations. You may update account details or request account deletion from the workspace. Some limited records may remain where retention is required or reasonably necessary.

For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact us through the support page. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

06

Public FMCSA records

Carrier records in newtruckingleads come from a government-published source and may contain contact information submitted as part of a motor carrier registration. newtruckingleads does not determine what FMCSA publishes. See the data source and disclaimer for provenance, limitations, and correction guidance.

07

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect account data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. newtruckingleads is a business prospecting tool and is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. A revised effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the product or by email when appropriate.
